Planning a trip to Houston in the near future? If so, you’re probably wondering how to spend your time or what events to go see. Even if you’re only going to be here for a few days, you can still see a lot in this great city.

 

Some very popular Houston events include taking in a professional sporting event. While the Houston Oilers have now moved to Tennessee, you still get to watch an NFL game when the Houston Texans play. Each year since 1932, the Houston Rodeo brings tens of thousands of people to the city and millions in revenue. If you plan to spend time in Houston during this event, it’s advised that you make hotel reservations well ahead of time.

 

There are also a number of museums and galleries in Houston. These events also draw a large number of visitors to the city. You’ll find several art fair, exhibits, and specialty events in the Museum District. If you’re in the mood for a night at the theater, then check out the Theater District. This area of the city is well known for its restaurants and nightlife after the shows, too.

 

For families, check out the latest exhibits at Hermann Park Zoo or at the Space Center Houston. Your kids are sure to enjoy the Kipp Aquarium at the zoo or a chance to see how astronauts live at the Johnson Space Center. There also always Houston events happening at these locations and they are always great for families.
